Westminster was founded in 1954.
WHAT DO PRESBYTERIANS BELIEVE?
--We believe in Jesus Christ.
--We are a part of the whole body of Christ, the Church all over the world.
--We believe God is revealed in the writings of the Bible.
--Presbyterians use a form of government based on teachings from the Scriptures.
--We have a representational church government that honors each believer with the right to elect leaders of the church.
--We are a connectional church--whose ties extend to congregations throughout the world.
--We call ourselves reformed--that is, we find our roots in Protestant Reformation of the 16th Century.
--We believe that God continues to speak to us today, calling us to reform ourselves by the leading of the Holy Spirit.
